Travelling to Shetland

Shetland has good transport links and is easily accessible by air and sea from the UK mainland.

By Air

Many seemed surprised to find that the visitor can leave London at breakfast and be in Shetland before lunch. With Loganair providing regular, direct connections from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, Shetland is within easy reach of all major UK airports.

By Sea

Northlink Ferries
The specially commissioned Northlink Ferries sail daily from Aberdeen and four times a week from Orkney. Visitors can relax during the overnight journey before arriving in Shetland fully refreshed.
